About

RTFP is able to offer the expertise of highly-qualified investment advisers and in addition has a dedicated mortgage adviser, so we can offer practical, tailor-made advice as your own circumstances change and evolve.  We are experts at helping private clients, trusts and charities create and preserve wealth.

We use a state-of-the-art, back-office system taking live feeds from the major investment and insurance houses, so information is always current. Our advice is based on insight from our in-house research committee and we are always guided by our clear and consistent investment processes.

You should remember that the value of an investment and the income from it could go down and well as up.  The return at the end of the investment period is not guaranteed and you may get back less than you originally invested.

The Financial Conduct Authority does not regulate trusts, nor does it regulate estate planning.

A Chartered Financial Planner, Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and one of the Directors of RT Financial Planners, I have worked as an IFA in Cirencester since 1998.  Prior to that I worked both at Prudential and NatWest. I provide a comprehensive level of advice to my clients, with experience and advanced qualifications across a wide spectrum of financial services and particularly specialising in pensions, retirement, investments and tax planning.

I live with my partner in Bristol.  Foreign travel is one of our favourite things, which we do as often as time allows.  I also very much enjoy cooking and socialising and am a keen sports fan - cricket in particular (watching, rather than partaking, I should add!)

I joined RT Financial Planners in 2010 and have recently become a director. Although predominantly based in Winchcombe I also work in the Cirencester office, not only looking after existing clients and taking on new ones but also assisting with the ongoing management of our company investment process . I am also continuing my professional studies and am working towards Chartered status, having already attained advanced qualifications in pensions and investments.

Outside work, my wife and I enjoy walking across the Cotswolds with our baby, Beatrix and our cockapoo, Barney.

Based in the Winchcombe office, I specialise as the mortgage adviser for the company, looking after those clients who need personal advice in mortgage-related matters  - anything from assisting a young couple with their first house purchase to helping people acquire buy to-let properties for investment purposes.

I can also advise clients on Equity Release solutions.

At least one evening a week I volunteer for the Royal British Legion as their Poppy Appeal Organiser. I work closely with our Community throughout the year to plan and organise the Poppy Appeal in our area.

I am the Corporate Services Manager for RTFP.  I look after HR, Health & Safety and IT and  I work closely with Jackie in matters of compliance and TCF and with all the directors on office matters.  I live very close by and it has long been a mystery as to why I’m never first in the office, when my daily commute is approximately two minutes.

Both my husband and I love cooking and ours may be quite a rare household as we tend to argue over who will cook dinner, rather than who won’t!

I have worked at RT Financial Planners in the Cirencester office since 2006. I work closely with all the IFAs but especially Jackie Greenwood, and I provide all manner of support that varies from day to day as may be needed.

I basically do my best to ensure that things run smoothly for our clients, resolving any queries or problems as they arise.  Much of my time is spent on day to day client support and maintaining portfolios, updating valuations and funds being altered or invested as necessary.

I am a busy working mum with two boys; we are lucky in that we live on a farm with a fishing lake and lots of other outdoor activities.  When time permits I love to read, travel and walk.

With 25 years' experience working in the financial sector to date, I have specialised in financial services and have achieved Chartered status.

Although I work closely with many professionals, including accountants and solicitors, the bulk of my work is with individual clients.  As a director of the firm I also lead our excellent and committed Winchcombe team.

Outside the office, I recently completed the maximum ten-year tenure as a Trustee for one charity, but remain as a Trustee for the locally-based Gloucestershire Arthritis Trust, which has so far raised over £5 Million.

I have been involved in financial services for nearly 20 years, including advising, working as a Discretionary Investment Manager and various other technical roles, although my particular area of expertise is investments.  I started working for RTFP in October 2017 and although my role as Operations Director is wide-ranging my particular focus is on helping to run the business to ensure the best outcomes for staff and clients.  I’m a chartered member of the CISI and hold a degree in financial services as well as diplomas in financial planning and  investment advice.

When not working I am a keen gardener, outdoorsman and sportsman.  I am also the Treasurer of my local fishing club, which has over a hundred members and access to some of the best fishing in the area, so if you fancy a day’s fishing let me know!

I am the Accounts Manager, I joined the company in 2003  and I am based in the Cirencester office. My main responsibilities are the accounts, payroll and fees for the IFAs. I also carry out some support for the IFAs, looking after clients both on the phone and when they attend meetings in our office.

I have lived in Cirencester for 42 years and have a grown up family of two boys (sorry - I mean men!)  My husband and I like to socialise with family and friends and cycle on summer evenings and at weekends.

I joined RT in 2012 and work in the Winchcombe office, supporting Dylan and Rob with all aspects of client work, from obtaining illustrations and valuations to ensuring that the back office system is kept up-to-date with ongoing information as well as looking after clients when they visit the office.

Keen to improve my knowledge and skills I have taken and passed several industry exams, the most recent of which was Personal Taxation.

During the weekend I can often be found playing golf.  I am currently the Secretary of the Ladies Section of my club.

Since joining RTFP in January 2018 as an administrator I have been involved in several projects, including a longer-term assignment dealing with the data that sits behind our back office system.  Although based in Cirencester I work closely with our Winchcombe office and offer general admin assistance across the board.

Outside work my partner and I enjoy tending our garden and are currently wondering at what point our dramatic, Black Magic sunflowers will actually stop growing.  I also like making things and bookbinding while listening to podcasts.
